BIOGRAPHY

Ggreg Snyder sings and acts. These days, he mostly writes songs. He picks up acting gigs and occasionally does a show of country classics with his band, Ggreg Snyder and the Rustix.

Ggreg maintains a residence in Las Vegas, and is available for bookings anywhere, if a travel budget is provided.  Ggreg speaks fluent Spanish & is conversant in Japanese. 

The Antelope Valley Press recently published a feature on Ggreg and has noted this act's "musical flair..., upbeat tunes and classic musicianship," and the Muse Patrol blog admired Ggreg's "Folksy gravitas."  BandCampDiaries said "Ggreg’s vocals are particularly striking, with an earnest feel that adds directness and authenticity to the song."

He has released 2 albums. Perilous Lizards in June of 2018 andVittles For Thought in 2015, both of which are available on ITunes, CD Baby, Amazon and all major outlets. He is currently working on a Broadway-style musical about World War 3, set in the 1960s. His single releases include the original She's Not You and a country cover of Friday I'm In Love by the Cure. Ggreg has played venues in North America, Europe & Asia. In California, he has been booked at the Cowboy Palace, House Of Blues (West Hollywood,) Hideaway Bar and Grill, Viper Room, UnUrban, the Coconut Teaszer, Madame Wong's West, El Rey Cantina, Club 88, Common Grounds, Butler's, the Basement, Paradise, the Moondog Café, Highland Grounds, Bear's Lair & the Breakaway, to name a few. He came to Southern California in 1989 to give it a go as an actor. He has been seen on Comedy Central's "The Man Show" and "Beat The Geeks" (as the Saturday Morning Geek), "USA: Up All Night", the Paramount feature "Trekkies 2" and many commercials. The extra "G" ihis first name is part of his stage name. It is search engine friendly.

Drums have been pounded by Ed Eblen (Lee Harper), Jim Salisbury, Tanner Byrom, Ken Hudgens (Mickey Gilley, Freddy Fender, Moe Bandy, Johnny Rodriguez, Dave Dudley and many others,) Robbie Rist (Wrong Dots, countless others, former child actor from The Brady Bunch & Mary Tyler Moore Show); Howard Sall; Steve Duncan (Desert Rose Band).


Guitar has been the domain of Robert Heft (Robert Heft Blues Band); Al Bonhomme; Harry Orlove; Sal Sanchez (Sal Sanchez Blues Band); Will Ray (The Hellecasters); & Turk Germain (Turk Germain & The Canadians). 

Steel Guitar has been twanged by Robert Heft, Lefty Wright, and Allen Flaa (Caught Red Handed.)
